Sometimes, the hardest part is finding somewhere you can be honest about how you’re really doing. You may be carrying grief, feeling overwhelmed, struggling in relationships, or noticing that experiences from the past still shape your present. Perhaps you’ve spent so long being there for others that you’re unsure what you need yourself.
You don’t need to have the right words, a clear goal, or everything figured out to begin. You are welcome here as you are.
About Me

I’m Teresa, a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC), and I hold a Master of Science in Counselling. For over a decade, I’ve supported individuals in Northern B.C. and beyond through times of change, challenge, and uncertainty. Since 2015, I’ve called the Terrace and Kitimat area home.
I believe counselling begins with a relationship where you feel heard, respected, and free to be yourself. I bring warmth, curiosity, and compassion to our work, making room for the feelings and experiences you may have learned to hide, question, or push aside.
I bring specialized training in attachment work, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Somatic Attachment Psychotherapy, a body-based approach. You have a say in the pace and direction of our work.

Sessions are available in person in Terrace, or by secure video or phone if that is more comfortable for you.
Individual Counselling
One on one sessions with a trained psychotherapist in a safe, caring and confidential setting.

Couples and Family Counselling
For couples working on communication and connection, and for families dealing with things like parent and teen conflict.

For children aged 8 to 16, including support with parental separation, anxiety, depression and grief.

she is incredibly talented at making sure in your sessions you don’t have an anxiety attack. theresa has never made me feel like there was something i said that actually affected her which is a good thing. she’s very professional.
